1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a MoneyMochi account, you agree to these terms. If you're setting up a household on behalf of other members, you're responsible for making sure they agree to them too.
2. The service
MoneyMochi is a Singapore-focused expense-tracking tool. You forward bank transaction alert emails to a private address we give you; our AI (currently Google Gemini) reads them and turns them into transaction records, queuing anything it's unsure about for your review. MoneyMochi is not a bank, does not move money, and does not provide financial advice — it's a record of spending you've chosen to share with it.
3. Eligibility
You need to be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use MoneyMochi. The service is designed around Singapore bank alert formats and Singapore dollar accounts; it may work elsewhere, but we don't guarantee it.
4. Your account and household
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the forwarding rules you set up.
- A household holds up to 5 members, each forwarding their own bank alerts.
- A household's owner must transfer ownership to another member before leaving or deleting a household that still has other members in it.
- Only forward alert emails for accounts that are genuinely yours, or that you have clear permission to forward.
5. Subscription and billing
MoneyMochi is a single household plan: S$6.90/month or S$59/year. Every new household starts with a 14-day free trial — no card is collected, and no charge occurs, unless and until you subscribe. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings; your account then becomes read-only — you keep full access to view and export your existing data, but new emails stop being parsed into transactions until you resubscribe. We don't prorate partial billing periods.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use MoneyMochi to forward emails that aren't genuine bank alerts, attempt to overwhelm or abuse our ingest address, or try to access another household's data. We may suspend an account that abuses the service while we look into it.
7. Your data
Your transactions and household data belong to you. We use the content of forwarded emails only to extract and display transaction details to you and your household — see our privacy policy for the full detail on collection, retention, and deletion.
8. Termination and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, by typing your email to confirm. We hold the deletion for 7 days — an emailed undo window — before it's permanently carried out. We may also suspend or terminate an account that seriously breaches these terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
MoneyMochi is provided "as is". Automated parsing of emails can occasionally misread a transaction — that's why uncertain ones are queued for your review rather than silently trusted, and why you can always correct a record yourself. To the extent permitted by law, MoneyMochi isn't liable for decisions you make based on the data in the app, or for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we'll let you know by email before it takes effect.
